OXFORD IN[SCI]TE CONFERENCE 2017

April 18th – 19th

IN[SCI]TE is an interdisciplinary Science, Technology, and Engineering conference based at Oxford University. Now in its second year, the conference is run by undergrads, and the talks are aimed at undergrads.

Barney, a recent graduate and Software Developer at TPP, will discuss his experience of working in the software industry.

“I’d only done a little bit of programming at university so when I spotted TPP’s job advert and saw that they didn’t require any previous experience, I decided to go for it.

When I started at TPP I was working on a real project from day one, learning what I needed to learn along the way. Everyone wants you to do well and there is always someone that will come and give you a hand when you need it.

It’s really rewarding to watch a project grow and to see your own personal contribution towards it. For me, it’s great to know that what I’m working on is actually going to help people.”

COME ALONG AT 11.45AM ON WEDNESDAY 19TH APRIL, TS ELIOT LECTURE THEATRE, MERTON COLLEGE
